Carols at the Bandstand

Something really magical happened on Sunday afternoon 7th December as people gathered to sing carols around the bandstand. We estimate that over 1000 people came and the resulting sound was truly uplifting with so many people joining in the singing and children ringing their bells. There was love and laughter in the air and we raised an extraordinary £9,058.52 for Royal Trinity Hospice.

We are hugely grateful to all those who came along and donated so generously. For anyone who missed the event who would like to donate you can do so here

Special thanks to :
Our generous sponsors; Enhance Fitness Studio, Patrick Henry Estate Agent and Thomas’s School Clapham.
Our media partner, Best of Clapham - you’ve raised the profile of this event to another level!
Derek Carden our wonderful conductor,
Sarah James for coordinating our musicians, all the instrumentalists and singers from various local choirs who joined us this year.
And of course all our fabulous volunteers serving mulled wine, handing out Carol books and bells etc.

Thanks too to Roddy Gye for the loan of sound equipment which we are assured can be upgraded to improve the quality and volume of the singing for next year - so do put Sunday 6th December 3pm in your diaries NOW!
