The Friends offer a number of opportunities to volunteer for litter picking, mulching, tree and hedge planting and watering and, on occasion, some project work.

If you would like to volunteer, please ensure that you read our attached Volunteering Policy by clicking on this link and notify the Chair when you have done so. You will then be added to our Volunteering WhatsApp chat group.

We also offer opportunities to Duke of Edinburgh's Award (DoE) students to fulfill their volunteering obligations under the scheme. To be eligible the parents of the DoE students must be members of the Friends.  If you are the parent or guardian of a DoE student who wishes to volunteer please read both the Volunteering Policy and our Safeguarding Policy, available on this link, and notify the Chair that you have done so. You and the student will then be added to our DoE WhatsApp chat group
